The SFTR 12K encapsulates the Stranda Fjord Trail Race experience in a shorter and faster course.

It´s a great course for the ones who want a faster course and shorter racetime, or for the “trail rookies” who want to get a feel of our fjord trails. This is also the course for our U20 runners in the Skyrunning Norway Series.

The race starts at Vestborg and follows the 48K and 100K course marking on the road through the neigbourhood at Langlo, and further along the pine and birch forrest on trail up to Skuravatnet. At Skuravatnet the 12K course follow the 48K course up the «backside» to Skurahornet, and then back down to Skuravatnet on the «frontside». From Skuravatnet the course backtracks the same way down as it came up, passing Vestborg and continuing all the way down Stranda village centre for the finish.

Image and video rights

By participating in any SFTR race, you as a participant agree that SFTR have the right of images and video that our photographers and video crew are documenting you in before, during, and after the race at our event locations and on the course.

Change of course or cancellation of the race

SFTR will always prioritize the safety of our participants and volunteers.

If the weather conditions puts the participants and volunteers in danger, the race organization will change the course. In extreme conditions the race can be cancelled.

By signing up to participate in any SFTR race you as a participant agrees to respect the race organizations decision.

Up until two months before race date there is a 50% refund on the registration fee if the race is cancelled.

There is no refund if the race is cancelled less than two months before the race date.
